If somebody sees something on his raids which is impressive and raised, he pauses in a devout silence for a moment. For him it isn't necessary to hallow one of seven days because for him every day is sacred.

Mammal photos - The newest pics from mammels, 06 Jun 2023

The photography of the Harbour porpoise is very difficult, as they usually only appear for 1 - 2 seconds, after which they reappear in another place and you never know where it isMany hazelnuts are carried away by the Red squirrel and buried in selected places on the forest floorThe best chances to photograph the Harbour porpoise are when they start hunting in a very small radius, then they appear again and again in an easily surveyable areaThe tufted ears of the Red squirrel clearly show that the wind has changed and is now blowing from the northA hazelnut disappears in the mouth of the Red squirrel, I could never observe that several nuts were taken upIn heavy swells, the photography of the Harbour porpoise is almost impossible, because you can hardly see the small whales between the waves

Here are the latest images from the realm of mammals.

Best wishes Helge

Roe Deer photos - Our least deer species is one of my favorite photo subjects, 23 Feb 2023

An old Roe deer doe moves to the safe area for game in front of my hiding placeAn old acquaintance, already 5 days before I was able to photograph the Roebuck in this part of the districtIn the late afternoon a male fawn of Roe deer walks to a harvested stubble fieldDespite good camouflage, the Roe deer doe notices the small changeThe last photo of the Roebuck, then he goes into the protective cover and while he slowly moves away he barks extensivelyWhere the hunters do not hunt the animals day and night and where the whole forest is not filled with high seats, the game can also be observed well during the day, like this Roe deer doe

The Roe Deer photography is one of my favorites. At first pics from the behaviour and otherwise many photos from different bucks are my target, too.

Red Deer rut 2021, 04 Nov 2021

The first photo of a Red stag in my new Red Deer area, here are atmospheric pictures possibleA Red Deer stag with beautiful dark and evenly shaped antlers carefully enters the aisle and I am amazed at the large number of different stags that appear in front of my camera that dayAfter a cold but comfortable night in the car a fantastic rut morning awaits me and if that was not enough, a roaring Red stag stands in the first morning light with his small herd on a heath in the forestEven if this day was not very successful from the photographic point of view this encounter with an impressive Red stag stays unforgettableA Red Deer stag with broken antler migrates to a large heath area in the early eveningTwo Red stags look at a roaring stag, a short time later they move in his direction

The first 14 days of the Red Deer rut 2021 were not really crowned with success. At the end, I had only 6 usable images. And the last of this pictures was taken at the end, on the return trip, in a previously unknown area. Discovered of course as almost always, by the research of my woman. A few days later, I visited the NEW area again, spent the next 5 nights in the car and was at the end very satisfied. The Red Deer are very shy, but the area itself offers very good possibilities. Of course, the photo opportunities are rare, but thanks to the beautiful landscape and the otherwise exciting location, there is a special predator here, it can always come to exciting encounters. Here I was certainly not the last time and probably I will even this year at least once more look over.

We were put together with all creatures on this earth. All these creatures, also the smallest grasses and the biggest trees are a family with us. All of us are brothers and sisters and we have the same value on this earth.
